We are excited to announce that SWALLOW Charity was named Charity of the Year at the Somerset Business Awards on Friday 22nd March 2024.
Thank you so much to Somerset Chamber of Commerce for a fantastic evening! In addition, after winning the award, SWALLOW were presented a £500 cheque from Sarah Green (on the right in one of the photos) of Marston Foods in Frome, who wanted to donate the money to the winner of Charity of the Year. Thank you Sarah!
Bev Craney, SWALLOW Chief Executive and Michelle Gibbs, SWALLOW HR Manager attended the Somerset Business Awards ceremony, along with SWALLOW members Emily and Sarah.
Bev said:
“it was an amazing evening and such an honour for SWALLOW to be recognised in this way, we accepted the award on behalf of everyone involved in SWALLOW Charity – our wonderful members and staff and volunteers and supporters. I am so proud of what we have achieved in our 30 years. The work that SWALLOW does, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of the local community, improves lives and empowers people.”
